District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today reviewed ongoing major developmental projects in the district here in a meeting.The meeting was attended by ADC Gurvinder Jeet Singh,CPO Uttam Singh, SDM, Gool, CEO, PDA, ACD, XENs of PDD, PWD, PMGSY and PHE besides CMO and other district and sectoral officers.The DDC reviewed the progress on major development projects, being executed in the district, including Degree College Banihal and Gool, 50 bedded Hospital Banihal, PHC Ukhral District Administrative complex, Gujjar and Bakarwal Hostel. He further fixed deadlines for all departments to complete ongoing projects to achieve 100 % target with in a stipulated time frame.He also reviewed the physical and financial achievements of PWD, PHE, PDD, Health, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, JKPCC, Labour, Employment and other departments under District plan.While taking stock of the implementation of several schemes including PMAY (R) Rural and PMAY (U) Urban, UMEED, Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen, welfare schemes for labourers under labour department and other state and centrally sponsored schemes, the DDC stressed on convergence of resources of different departments for better results on the ground to meet the aspirations of the public.The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies officers to accelerate the pace of work to achieve the tangible results. He entrusted upon the concerned officers for judicious and effective utilization of funds besides removing bottlenecks hindering developmental works. Attendance status of various departments was also reviewed in the meeting.
