Secretary PHE, I&FC, Farooq Ahmad Shah today made a surprise visit to the offices of the Chief Engineer PHE, Chief Engineer Irrigation, and Flood Control Rajbagh Srinagar and took stock of the working of these offices.He stressed the officers/officials to work with dedication and take efforts to help people. He directed the officials to dispose-off all pending files in the department and all matters should be disposed off in quickest possible time.The Secretary took strong notice of a fire incident happening in PHE office Rajbagh yesterday. He directed an inquiry into the fire incident and also placed under suspension concerned employee until the completion of the inquiry. He directed the Chief Engineer to act against those employees who are habitual late comers.
