The District level Screening–cum-Consultative Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Baramulla Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash today.The committee scrutinized 24 cases for ex-gratia relief and 17 of them were settled on spot and 7 others were referred to concerned agencies for verification report.On the occasion, the committee sanctioned Rs.6.00 lac in favour of 6 kins of deceased persons as ex-gratia relief, Rs.12 lac sanctioned as cash compensation to the kins of the deceased persons against SRO43 while Rs.21 lac was sanctioned in favour of persons against the damaged property during the militancy incidents.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and other officers from security agencies.
