Under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh Chief Minister Punjab, the Punjab Government has made extensive efforts to provide quality health care to the people of the state.The important welfare schemes in the field of health are being implemented successfully and medical facilities are being provided to the people of the villages near their homes.While giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Moga Dilraj Singh IAS said that mobile medical bus was being started in Moga district for this purpose, under which free medical facilities were being provided to the rural residents of the district. He informed that the health department, Moga visited the 23 villages of the district in the month of June, 2018 and medical check up of 529 patients. He said that through this medical facility, giving free medicines to the patients, their ECG, lab tests etc.are also done free of cost. He informed that through this mobile medical bus the people of remote areas of the district are getting a big advantage.He said that this bus service is a boon for the elderly, disabled, child and other needy persons living in district villages who can not reach the hospital to get medicines.Civil Surgeon, Moga Dr. Sushil Jain said that except for Sunday and Gazetted vaccination by doctors and para-medical staff of this mobile medical unit taken to different slum colonies from 9 am to 3 pm.This unit checks patients from two villages daily. He informed that during the current month July, 2018, this mobile medical unit will be check the 27 villages residents. Civil Surgeon encouraged residents of these villages to take advantage of this mobile medical unit. On this occasion, Nodal Officer-cum-Deputy Medical Commissioner Surinder Setia was also present.
