"Congress Government has miserably failed to control drugs in Punjab rather the drug trade is thriving under the patronage of congress government in Punjab, particularly in Majha region" these views were expressed by Manjinder Singh Sidhu, State President (Youth Wing) of Aam Aadmi Party while leading a demonstration against drugs outside the office of SSP Tarn Taran.Addressing an impressive gathering during the protest, Manjinder Singh Sidhu said that Capt. Amarinder Singh has committed unpardonable blunder  by taking U-Turn from his promise to end drug trade in Punjab within days after forming government which he had committed to the people of Punjab by holding sacred "Gutka Sahib" in his hands.Sidhu said that perturbed over the manifold increase in the drug trade since Congress formed government in Punjab, AAP youth wing has launched "Halla Bol" campaign against drugs through which they shall urge the people to come forward and take on drug peddlers themselves as Criminal-Police-Politician nexus functioning during SAD-BJP regime has further strengthened under Congress Government and only a mass movement of public can stop this drug demon from swallowing the youth of Punjab.During this protest, Kultar Singh Sidhwan MLA, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal President Majha Zone, Harnesk Singh President Ludhiana, Pargat Singh President Amritsar (Rural), Robby Kang President Youth Wing (Doaba Zone), Sukhraj Singh Gora President Youth Wing (Malwa-I zone), Aman Mohi President Youth Wing (Malwa-II zone), Sukhraj Singh Bal President Youth Wing (Majha Zone), Sarbjot Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bittu, Salbir Singh TRong, Harbhajan Singh ETO, Sukhjinder Singh Pannu (All State Gegeranl Secretaries), Ranjit Singh Cheema, Sukhbir Valtoha, Harjit Singh Sandhu, Jasbir Singh Sur Singh, Palwinder Ranivallah along with party volunteers were present in large number.
