A high level delegation comprising of Ambassadors of five countries namely Nepal, UAE, Lebanon, Sri Lanka and Italy called on Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badnore at Punjab Raj Bhavan today.According to an official spokesperson of the Punjab Raj Bhawan, the delegation included Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal, Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri, Ambassador of India to UAE, Mr. Sanjeev Arora, Ambassador of India to Lebanon, Mr. Taranjit Singh Sandhu Ambassador of India to Sri Lanka and Mrs. Reenat Sandhu, Ambassador of India to Italy held fruitful discussion on various issues of mutual interest including Education, Agriculture & Horticulture, Food Processing, Tourism and Environmental issues such as stubble burning and also issues related to the fake agents sending people illegally to these countries.The prospects of exchanges and collaborations between these countries and Punjab & Chandigarh were also discussed in this meeting.
