Three days State level Shoolini fair of Solan started off today with traditional fervour and gaiety at Thodo ground. Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur presided over the opening ceremony by performing Pooja and receiving the Palanquin of Shoolini Mata’, main Deity of Solan.Thousands of people in their colourful attire participated in the procession.Chief Minister released a souvenir brought out by the Organising Mela Committee on the occasion.Chief Minister inaugurated Internet Services (Non Financial) of Bhagat Bank on the occasion.He also showered flowers on palanquin of Shoolini Mata.Speaker H.P. Vidhan Sabha Dr Rajiv Bindal, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr Rajiv Saizal, MP Shri Virender Kashyap, MLA Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil, MLA Doon Shri Paramjeet Singh Pammi, BJP leaders Dr Rajesh Shandil, Deputy Commissioner Solan Shri Vinod Kumar and senior officers and other prominent persons were present on the occasion.
