Government College for Women, Parade today organized a programme to mark the celebrations of 4th International Yoga Day in the college premises. The event was organized under the auspices of 2nd J&K Girls Battalion Jammu in which 8 institutions across the Jammu division participated.Dr Yograj Padha from Bhartiya Yog Sansthan and his team were the Resource persons on the occasion.All the teachers and students performed various Yoga Asanas which started with “Suksham Vayayam” and ended with citation of “Om”.Principal of the college Dr Hemla Aggarwal was the chief guest on the occasion who emphasized on the importance of yoga in every person’s life and motivated the students to perform and practice Yoga regularly.
