DDC Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla today convened a meeting with Tehsil Supply Officers (TSO’s) of FCS&CA and representatives of gas agencies functioning in the district to review the status of Pradham Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) Scheme and the supply of LPG.The DDC was informed that around 6426 LPG connections have been issued in the District under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) scheme till date.The DDC directed that PMUY should be implemented in letter and spirit and it should be ensured that all eligible beneficiaries are covered under this scheme. He directed the concerned to cover 100% households with LPG connections.Stressing upon strengthening the home delivery of LPG within shortest possible time, he directed the representatives of Gas Agencies to ensure 100% home delivery in every nook and corner of the Ganderbal district. The DDC also directed all the gas dealers to work in coordination and to ensure that there should not be any complaints in this regard.On the occasion, DDC also launched the complaint number 0194-2416131 and urged upon the people to feel free to contact if there is any complaint.
