Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur held a meeting with senior officers of the state government here today to review the adequate drinking water supply in Shimla town.The Chief Minister was informed by the officers, that MC Shimla received 37.01 MLD water, which was distributed according to the time table today. He was informed that water was suplied in Kusumpti, Pantha Ghatti, Chhota Shimla, Patiyog, Kangnadhar, New Shimla and Khalini areas on 4th June, 2018.The Chief Minister was informed that water would be supplied to Bharari, Ruldu Bhatta, Kaithu, Anadale, Summer Hill, Totu, Manjhiyat, Kachhi Ghati, Boleauganj, Tutikandi, Kanlog, Nabha and Fagli areas on 5th June, 2018.The Chief Minister directed that water should be distributed strictly according to the scheduled time table.He also directed the officers to ensure effective checking of water losses due to leakages.Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry, Additional Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh, Secretary IPH Devesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla Amit Kashyap, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Shimla Rohit Jamwal, SP Shimla Omapati Jamwal, Chief Engineer IPH Vikrant Suman, OSD to the Chief Minister Mahender Dharmani, Media Advisor Rohit Saval and other officers were also present in the meeting.
