The Haryana Nambardar Association has decided to support the state government in the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat and other campaigns of the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi. About 25,000 Nambardars posted across the state would contribute to better implementation of such campaigns in the state, including the one on drug de-addiction.This was conveyed to the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, by a delegation of Nambardars, led by Mr Zile Singh, President of the association, along with national convener of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Mr Rajendra Phadke, which met him at his residence here today. It assured him of full support and total transparency in the working of nambarars.Mr Singh said the association which worked as a non-political organization, had also decided to take effective steps to bring about a positive change in the attitude of people towards the girl child and ensure cleanliness in the surroundings. The association has decided to set up a monitoring committee to check corruption. It will take strict action and file an FIR against nambardars involved in corruption. Since nambardars worked as a bridge between government and the people, the state government should accept their demands.
