Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has said that separate registry of each floor in Gurugram will be permitted. Earlier the Government has given permission for the construction of house upto fourth floor. The Chief Minister was speaking during a function organized by Punjabi Biradari Mahasabha in Gurugram.Mr Manohar Lal said, “Social organizations are doing a good job, they play an important role in rooting out the social evils of the society like female foeticide, drug addiction.” He urged the social organizations to contribute in strengthening the spirit of Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek.During the function, the Chief Minister honoured eight elderly persons of 95 years of age and above. In view of demands presented by the Punjabi Biradari Mahasabha, he said that actions were being taken to bring colonies developed by private builders under the limits of the Municipal Corporation (MC), Gurugram. So far, six colonies of the district have been included in the MC area and soon, Sushant Lok-I, II, III and DLF-I, II and III would also be included. The mahasabha had raised this demand, as these colonies lacked public facilities, he added.

Regarding demand of providing two acre land for the construction of Punjabi Bhawan in Gurugram, he said that first identify land in the area of MC, after which, according to the rules of the state government, the land would be given to the mahasabha. On conversion charges of shops, the chief minister assured to resolve the problem by talking to the officers of MC.He said that soon Gurugram railway station would be linked with metro. He assured to get a survey conducted for elevating new railway and old railway roads in the district.The Chief Minister announced to give ex-gratia of Rs five lakh each to the dependents of two deceased who died when their house caught fire in Sohna and the incident is being investigated by Deputy Commissioner, Mr Vinay Partap Singh. He said that mass weddings should be encouraged and for this, the state government would make provision of kanyadaan amount to be given.The Chief Minister said that any person can go to Antyodaya Bhawan constructed at district level and get all information about government schemes and could also give his application to take the benefit of the scheme. These Antyodaya Bhawans would later be opened at sub divisional level, he added.
