Army claims to have killed four militants in a gunfight on the Line of Control (LoC) after an infiltration bid was foiled early on Saturday, officials said.Defence spokesperson said that four militants were killed while attempting to infiltrate early morning today.He said that the operation, which is still in progress, was launched in north Kashmir, Kupwara border area of Tanghdar.The killings took place a day after Army Chief General Bipin Rawat called upon Pakistan to stop infiltration to establish peace along border.“We want peace at borders but as you know Pakistan continuously violates ceasefire that causes loss of life and property and in such a case we have to retaliate but if Pakistan wants peace, we expect them to take initiative, which will start with them stopping infiltration,” he said.
