Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is going to begin new courses of “Bachelor of Business Administration Service Industry” and “Master of Commerce, M.Com Professional” with effect from the session starting in July 2018. Both these courses have a huge job potential in the market. The 3-year-degree course of BBA has been specially designed by PTU , keeping in view the placement opportunities. During this course, apart from studying the subjects dealing with the basic requirements of Service Industry, a student will be taught specialized subjects like ‘Retail Management’, ‘Tourism & Hospitality Management’ and ‘Event Management’. This will enable a student to get placed in big Retail Companies like Big Bazaar, Metro, Reliance, Best Price etc.
Apart from this, a student will be trained to work in companies like ‘Make My Trip’ & a large number of Hotel chains dealing with Tourism & Hospitality. In addition to this, a student will get opportunity to become a successful Event Manager. The admission to this course is open for the students having passed 10+2 in any stream. The course of M.Com Professional will prove extremely useful for the students desirous of working in Banks, other finance institutions and a huge number of Mutual Fund companies.
