Dilbagh Singh resident of Jujhar Nagar, who visited Farad Kendra situated at District Administrative Complex, Sec-76 said that these Farad Kendra's are very helpful for common people. He has not faced any difficulty in obtaining the required land record. Rather, the process was quite fast. He was very satisfied regarding the working of this Kendra. Similarly, land owners Jai Singh of village Patton and Jaswant Singh of Mauli Baidwan were also satisfied with the working of this Kendra, they both visited the Farad Kendra to obtain the land record related with their agriculture land.Farad Kendra's in District SAS Nagar are providing the land record to the seekers in very short span of time and till April, this year, total 10 thousand 115 Farads and 60 thousand 408 attested pages has been provided to the land owners in the district. Disclosing this Deputy Commissioner Smt Gurpreet Kaur Sapra said that directions have been issued to ensure transparency in the work of Farad Kendra's and officials have been directed to work with honesty and dedication, so that general public would not face any problem.
She said that land record is being provided in less than 15 minutes and Rs 20 per page has been charged for the attested copy of the record.Giving the details Deputy Commissioner said that total 06 Farad Kendra's being operational in District SAS Nagar which were located at District Administrative Complex SAS Nagar, Tehsil Complex Kharar, Tehsil Complex Dera Bassi, Sub- Tehsil Majri, Sub – Tehsil Banur & Sub Tehsil Zirakpur.Deputy Commissioner said that 1783 Farads & 10104 attested pages have been issued from the Farad Kendra situated at District Administrative Complex. 3085 Farads & 15449 attested pages from Tehsil Complex Kharar, 1752 Farads & 12688 attested pages from Tehsil Complex Dera Bassi, 1650 Farads & 9979 attested pages from Farad Kendra Majri, 6774 Farads & 3619 attested pages from Farad Kendra Banur and from Farad Kendra Zirakpur 1171 Farads & 8569 attested pages have been issued so, far.
