“Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, is committed to provide gainful employment in Government and Private sector to the youth of the state.Marching forward in this direction, the state government is striving hard to fill the vacant posts in various departments.The technical education and industrial training department is the flag bearer in this campaign as we have managed to fill large number of vacant posts.”After handing over appointment letters and allotting stations of choice to 15 newly appointed lecturers at his office here today, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister exhorted these newly appointed lecturers to adopt the students and train them for the competitions so that the government institutions could yield better results besides enabling the students to get dignified jobs in government and industrialist sector.In a bid to set high standards of transparency, Mr. Channi has invited these PPSC selected newly-appointed lecturers in his office and asked for their choice of posting. Thereon, the stations were allotted as per their choice.Mr. Channi said that henceforth the posting of these lecturers will be made on merit. He said that lecturers, who would perform well and give good results, would be posted at nearby institutes as per their preferences.
