Chief Minister gave away prizes to cricket players

Another milestone added to the history of Himachal sports when first time an International One Day Cricket match was played between India and England Cricket teams at Dharamshala cricket stadium today. Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister today joined the cricket fans at Cricket stadium Dharamshala in district Kangra nestled in lap of picturesque Dhauladhar snow ranges. Chief Minister was Chief Guest on the occasion and he gave the prizes to the winner team. 

England cricket team won the fifth and last one day cricket match of the cricket series and India won the series by 3-2. Smt. Vidya Stokes, Irrigation and Public Health Minister, Shri Sujan Singh Pathania, Power Minister, Shri Sudhir Sharma, Urban Development Minister, Shri Prem Kumar Dhumal, Leader of Opposition, Shri Anurag Thakur, Member of Parliament-cum- President, HPCA, MLAs, senior officers of the State Government was present on the occasion. Earlier, Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Prime Minister of Tibetan Government in Exile met the Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh at Dharamshala stadium during the match.
