Refugee Candidate for Lok Sabha Labha Ram to support BJP

Refugee United Front (RUF) candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Labha Ram Gandhi declared to not campaign for himself but to seek support for BJP candidates in the state. Addressing media persons alongwith Member of Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna, State General Secretary Kavinder Gupta and RUF Chairman Capt. Yudhvir Singh Chib, he announced that his organization has taken a decision to openly support BJP in view of the recent assurance by its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at Hiranagar on March 26 that “he will solve the long pending problems of refugees and ensure grant of all the rights to the West Pakistani refugees and POJK refugees which are enjoyed by other citizen of the country.” Gandhi further said that day long deliberations with Avinash Rai Khanna and BJP high command on April 04 has further strengthened our faith that the BJP is really committed for the cause of refugees and hence we should vote in favour of BJP candidates so that the Congress do not win again.Labha Ram Gandhi said that it has been most unfortunate that one of the refugee from West Pakistan ruled the country as Prime Minister during UPA-I and UPA-II but did nothing to understand our decades old pains. It has made us to reconsider our decision to not fight the Lok Sabha election but to support BJP so that the Congress is defeated for backstabbing the innocent and helpless refugees, he said and appealed the refugees to vote in favour of BJP candidates.
