The Dhouladhar ranges of Himalayas in Kangra district of Himachal had the fresh and heavy snowfall this morning as the entire Kangra Valley including the famous hill station Dharamshala experiencing the light to moderate rain since yesterday evening. The temperature in the valley is slided down and the public is seen in warm clothings. The turirsts are heavy with the lovely but cold climate.The meteorological office said that due to the Yesterday’s Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan & neighbourhood at 3.1 km amsl now lies over Jammu & Kashmir & neighbourhood, Rainfall occurred at many places all over the state during last 24 hours. Snowfall occurred at isolated places in the district of Lahaul & Spiti of the state, recoded as 5 cms at Keylong.Maximum Rainfall recorded at Kalpa-27mm, Kukumseri & Bharmaur-24mm, Reckong peo-21mm, Manali-18mm, Chhatarari & Seobagh -15 each, Salooni & Sarahan-14 each, Dalhousie-13, Narkanda & Kumarsain-12 each Banjar-9mm, Dharamshala, Keylong, Chamba, Sangrah & Rampur-8 each, Dharamshala airport-7mm, Arki & Palampur -6mm each, Mashobra, Bhuntar,Gohar, Pachhad, Kufri ,Baijnath, Kheri, Bharwain, Bajaura & Sunnibhajji-5 each, Nahan,Janjehli,Theog,Renuka & Paonta-4 each.The Lowest temperature recorded at Keylong = (-) 0.3°C and Highest temperature recorded at Una = 38.8°C.Weathermen forecasted Rain/thundershowers at many place in the entire state on 8 th 9 th 12 th and 13 th May.
