Medical camps held at Dalheri, Gundah; 480 patients provided free treatment

The Health Department organised two mega medical camps at Dalheri and Gundah, remotest areas of the district.The camps were organised on the direction of DDC, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, as per his commitment to the people during his Public outreach programmes at Dalheri and Gundah recently. During one of the camps, organised by Block Medical Officer Kalakote under supervision of Chief Medical Officer Dr Suresh Gupta, a total of 158 Certificates including 93 at Dalheri and 65 at Gundah were provided and 480 patients were examined and provided free medicines in the OPD conducted in both the villages.The certificates such as old age and widow certificates for settling pension cases, disability and fitness certificates required for job and labour purposes were provided in the camps.The camps were coordinated by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka Shafiq Ahmed who informed that two more such camps will be held at Keri and Bhella on April 26, 2018.
