A National Lok Adalat comprising 4 benches was held under the supervision of Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora Syed Sarfaraz Hussain in Bandipora District here today.As many as 699 cases relating to civil, criminal, matrimonial, bank suits and other matters were taken up, out of which 110 cases settled amicably. A settlement amount of Rs 675350 was awarded under various bank cases during the Lok Adalat.Three benches were established at District Court Complex Bandipora which were presided over by Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora Syed Sarfaraz, Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora Raja Mohammad Tasleem and MUNSIF Bandipora Iqbal Ahmad Aakhoon respectively.Lok Adalat at Court Complex Sumbal was chaired by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal Manzoor Hussain Chowdhery.
