The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday announced to start a series of agitations against the state as well as centre government on the issues of farmers and farm laborers suicide, chit fund frauds and Punjabi youth dying in gulf countries because of lack of employment. Speaking during the state level meeting of zone presidents, general secretaries, joint secretaries and Halqa in-charges AAP state co-president, Dr. Balbir Singh said that AAP will fight out the govt. on people’s issue. AAP Majha Zone president Kuladeep Singh Dhaliwal, Malwa-1 president Anil Thakur, Malwa-2 president Gurditt Singh Sekhon, Malwa-3 President Dalbir Singh Dhillon and other office bearers were also present during the meeting.Dr. Balbir Singh said that the volunteers are the backbone of the party and their opinion will be the utmost thing in appointment at every level in the party. He said that the party will work on maintaining discipline within the party and nobody will be allowed to cross the lines. Dr. Balbir said that ask every question related to the people from the government.4 resolutions were passed unanimously during the meeting, according to it AAP will fight out the drug dealers and their protector to tooth and nail as the drug menace is going uninterrupted after the formation of Congress government in state. The members accused SAD-BJP and Congress for shielding the accused involved in the drug trade in state. They demanded that the Captain govt. as per their promise must act on the report submitted by STF and action must be taken against people involved in the drug trade.

The members also criticized the centre and state governments for their apathy towards the large scale suicides of farmers and farm laborers in the state. The members said that the Modi govt. in which Akali Dal is alliance partner is equally responsible for the farmers’ suicide as the Capt. led state govt. the members also criticized Capt. Amarinder Singh for not uttering a single word on the report submitted by the all party Vidhan Sabha committee on farmers’ suicide issue. They demanded that the govt. must immediately release the monetary compensation to the farmers and laborers families.The members unanimously passed a resolution to pay tribute to the departed souls of 39 youngsters out of which 27 were Punjabi those were killed by the ISIS terrorist in Iraq. They demanded that the govt. must pay compensation to the families and govt. job to a member of each family must be provided without any delay. They accused that the successive governments at centre and state levels are responsible for the widespread unemployment among the youth that forces them to immigrate to other countries.The present Congress and previous SAD-BJP governments were accused for the chit fund frauds happened in the past. The member demanded that the govt. must mortgage the properties of the companies like Pearl and Crown and compensate the effected families. They announced to standd by the effected families.
