Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today convened a public grievance redressal camp here to listen to the demands and problems of the people from Chrar-i-Sharief constituency.During the public meet, the people apprised the Minister with their problems which included unscheduled power cuts, macadamization and better road connectivity, and provision of drinking water facilities.Hearing their grievances patiently, the Minister assured them that he would take up their issues with the concerned authorities so that appropriate action is initiated at an earliest.Highlighting the importance of such public meets, the Minister said it is a platform to the public for direct interaction with their ministers so that their problems could be raised and mitigated immediately.Hanjura informed the gathering that upgradation of many schools and macadamization of roads is under consideration in Chrar-i-Sharief constituency for the current year. He added construction of roads and other development works under PMGSY and MGNREGA are already in full swing.
