Lt. Gen. Surinder Singh AVSM, General Officer commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters, Western Command Chandigarh called on Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur at his official residence 'Oak Over' today. It was a courtesy call.The Chief Minister had detailed discussion with the Lt. General on issues related to improvement of border roads in the tribal districts of the State.Lt. General Surinder Singh informed the Chief Minister that Pension Adalat, for the ex-servicemen would be held at Mandi soon.The Chief Minister honoured the Lt. General by presenting him a memento, shawl and Himachali cap.Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Smt. Manisha Nanda and Secretary GAD Shri Akshay Sood were present on the occasion.
