A vote for Congress would be a vote against the refugees from West-Pakistan, POJK, Kashmir valley and border migrants, as also against small and marginal farmers, SCs,OBCs and other deprived sections of society. It will also be a vote for National Conference, which has been demanding semi-independence from India and giving overt and covert support to militants and separatists. The Congress was founded by the British government in December 1885 to check the ongoing freedom movement in the country and help the British imperialists consolidate the London’s rule over India and exploit its natural resources to enrich the British economy.  This was stated by the BJP candidate for the Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency & Party State President Jugal Kishore Sharma on Thursday while addressing a series of election rallies at Kanal, Batyari Sultanpur, Sarore, Bishnah, Khojipur, Majowa, Rihal, Pandori brahmana, Nandpur, Pindi Camp, Arnia, Kanyal, Ala in the Bishnah Assembly constituency. He also took out a road show  in Bishnah town.

“The people of Jammu must discard the Congress and similar other fake secular parties in the larger national interest and in their own interest,”he said, and added that the Congress has not only undermined the Constitutional and democratic situations to remain in power at the cost of the people, but also endangered national security and territorial integrity of the country by following a very soft approach towards hostile nations like Pakistan and China and separatist forces in the Kashmir valley.

Sharma said that the Congress, in collaboration with parties like the NC and the PDP, has willfully deprived the refugees from West-Pakistan of their natural right to exercise all citizenship rights in the state, hobnobbed with regressive forces in the valley to prevent the return of the internally displaced Kashmiri Hindus to their original homes and hearths and scuttled the genuine demand of refugees from POJK seeking adequate compensation for the properties they left behind in 1947. He said the BJP moved bills on these issues in the assembly a number of times but the Congress and Kashmir based parties like the NC and the PDP always joined hands to defeat the BJP’s pro-people bills. “These people will never vote for the Congress and ensure its complete rout in the upcoming parliamentary elections,” Sharma said and added that the BJP will do everything possible to mitigate the hardships of not only the refugees of all varities but also see to it that Jammu Province gets its due share in the political and economic processes of the state.

Ridiculing the claim of the Congress leadership that the Congress forced the British to leave India, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that it was making a false claim and added that the British left India in 1947 because of the pressure from the below, international situation and the bad economic health of London. He also rejected the claim of the Congress leadership that the state government adopted 73rd Constitutional Amendment to empower the elected panchayats and created many new administrative units. He said the NC-Congress coalition government has neither adopted 73rd Constitution Amendment in toto nor created any new administrative unit in any of the three regions of the State. He  said the only achievements of the Congress-NC coalition are corruption, scams, scandals, unemployment, mal-administration, promotion of dynastic rule, hatred between the regions and the communities, promotion of separatism and communalism in the State and subversion of democratic and economic processes.Jugal appealed to the people to vote overwhelmingly in favor of the BJP to strengthen the hands of BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi who has established his credentials as a public spirited figure, administrator, statesman and as a great visionary, saying a vote for the BJP will be a vote for the development of the country and the people.Chander Prakash Ganga, MLA Sham Choudhary, Shilpi Verma, Satpal Pappy, Raj Singh, Davinder Kumar, Bishan choudhary, Capt. Karnail Singh, Ghansham and Narayan Dutt  accompanied Sharma.
