Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the public meeting at Pakhubela in Una Assembly constituency today said that the present State Government was committed for doubling the income of the farmers by next few years and added that to achieve the target new schemes have been proposed in the budget for the year 2018-19. He said that the Una assembly constituency remained neglected during the tenure of previous Government, but today he has inaugurations worth Rs 20 crore in one day, addition foundation stones and announcements worth crore of Rupees were also made on the occasion.Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that the main focus of the Government would be development, welfare of poor, downtrodden and under privileged sections of the society. He said the previous Government in the State had pushed the State into huge debt trap. He said that when the Government was committed for development, the opposition was raising non-issues to divert attention of people from core issue of development.He said that the BJP Government sanctioned IIT , Indian Oil Deport, Satellite Centre of PGI, Mother Child Health Care Centre and other mega projects for Una district. Honorarium of PRI functionaries was enhanced by the State Government soon after assuming office, he added. He said that Rs 80 crore has been sanctioned for expanding rail network in Una. He said that all the developmental needs of the constituency would be addressed on top priority. He said BJP State president has played a major role in the massive victory of the BJP in the State. He also accepted all the developmental demands of Shri Satpal Satti on the occasion.
MP Shri Anurag Thakur while welcoming the Chief Minister to his home Parliamentary constituency thanked him for announcing development works worth crores of Rupees to the people of the area. He said that the CM accepted all the developmental demands of the State BJP President.State BJP President Shri Satpal Singh Satti thanked the CM for laying foundation stone of bridge to be constructed on Jalgran-Pekhubela-Khui-Bhadloiya road at a cost of Rs 131.69 lakh. He said that previous Government had patronized sand mafia and drug mafia. He said the present Government has completely wiped out all these antisocial elements from the area. He said that all the senior national leaders of the BJP have special love and affection for the people of the State and the State would be immensely benefitted from this gesture.
