Vineet Chawdhry Chief Secretary participated in the 18th Meeting of Standing Committee of Northern Zonal Council organized by Inter State Council Secretariat of Ministry of Home Affairs at Jaipur today. The meeting was presided by Rajasthan Chief Secretary Shri N. C. Goyal.Shri Chawdhry raised issues pertaining to the state for membership of Himachal Pradesh in Bhakhra Beas Management Board (BBMB), approval under Forest Conservation Act 1980 for construction of roads under PMGSY, Payment of Compensatory Afforestation and Net Present Value (NPV).The Zonal Council deliberated upon 29 issues of common interest.Representatives from Union Territories of Chandigarh, National Capital Territory of Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan attended the meeting
