The romantic comedy Marriage Da Garriage, a venture of banner 30TY Group Productions, will be a rom-com with edu-com tadka releasing in theatres on March 28.Director Jaswinder Singh addressed media persons at Press Club today flanked by Lead Actor Navraj Hans and Amritpal Chotu and screenplay write Gaurav Bhalla.Talking about the much-awaited movie of year, Jaswinder said that this adventurous rom-com movie which will tickle the funny bone of viewers having the best of Punjabi as well as Bollywood industry. Marriage Da Garriage is also a movie of debuts with the best of Bollywood marking their debut in Punjabi cinema.
Renowned singer Hans Raj Hans’s elder son Navraj Hans will make debut with this flick. Bollywood stars Shakti Kapoor and Razaak Khan too will make their Pollywood debuts.It has most popular comedian actors Jaswinder Bhalla and B N Sharma sharing screen once again, followed by on-screen Bua Upasana Singh.“Bollywood’s hit couple name Raj-Simran from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) have been re-incarnated in fresh avatar in Pollywood,” said Jaswinder Singh.He added that the story revolves around two imprisoned friends Chaabi (Jaswinder Bhalla) & and Panna (B N Sharma) who are finally released from jail and start new business named as Marrige Da Garriage.
The way these two friends help Raj (Navraj Hans) tie knot with Simran (Keeya Khanna) forms the gist of movie.“Besides rom-com, this is also an ‘edu-com’ film.This will be the first genre in Punjabi film industry” added Gaurav Bhalla, screenplay and dialogue writer. A complete package of Pollywood as well as B-town star cast namely B N Sharma, Jaswinder Bhalla, Upasana Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Razaak Khan, Deepak Raja and Razia Sukhbir, the film has been shot in the cities of Jalandhar, Chandigarh.Sharing about his debut movie singer turned actor Navraj Hans said, “Movie’s unique and hilarious concept made me take up this project to debut in the ever growing Punjabi cinema. It is a complete family comedy and will entertain the audience. Besides this, I have two songs in movie.”The music of the film is by Gurmeet Singh. The story is written by Sardool Rathod and Farroq.
