Faculty members of the Government Dental College Srinagar today met Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiea Naqash and requested redress of their grievances.The GDC faculty members apprised the Minister regarding several issues including promotion disparity, pay anomaly among other grievances.The Minister, while assuring the delegation of looking into their concerns, called upon the hospital administration, doctors and para-medical staff to put in extra efforts to provide best services to the patients.She reiterated the Government’s resolve to provide better healthcare facilities to the people. She said people have high expectations from the doctors and paramedics, and they must fulfill these with missionary spirit and medical ethics.
