Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa gave appointment letters to 127 newly recruited panchayat secretaries in the department here  today. On the occasion Mr. Bajwa asked the department officials to allot the stations to the newly recruited panchayat secretaries as per their priority so that they could  perform their duty with full dedication without any problemMr. Tript Bajwa also asked the newly appointed panchayat secretaries to work honestly in a transparent manner.  He said that everyone should do their duty with the spirit of service and the people should be provided hassle free services without any delay. Besides this, the  panchayat minister also gave a clear cut message that they should do development works without any discrimination. 'Quality material must be ensured during the  development works in the villages,' added Bajwa.Mr. Tript Bajwa also appealed to the newly recruited panchayat secretaries to adopt new techniques in their work and  should keep up-to-date record of every work. He said such system should be implemented that no one faces any trouble in handing over record after their transfers.  He  said that this would improve the function of the department and bring more transparency.On this occasion, the panchayat minister said that more appointments would be  made in the department. He directed the senior officers of the department to speed up the process to fill the vacant posts in the department.On this occasion Mr. Anurag  Verma Principal Secretary, Mr.Siban  C. Director, Mr. Raminder Buttar Additional Director and Gurdarshan Singh Bahia OSD were also present.
