A group of 24 young men from the Rajouri and Poonch districts, led by Lt. Col. C.N.  Babu, 38 RR, which has just returned from its 10 day Capacity Building Tour, met Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today. This group, which has visited places of interest relating to dairy farming sector in North India was conducted by Major Mayur Patel of 38 RR. Dr. Mohd. Alyas from the Animal Husbandry Department also accompanied the youth on this visit.Interacting with the group, Governor enquired from them about the places they had visited and the experiences which they had gained about the dairy farming sector. He urged them to establish small dairy units on scientific lines by availing technical and capital support from the entrepreneurship development and financial institutions in the State.  Governor stressed the importance of self employment and advised the youth to also take up poultry and fish farming and bee-keeping, besides dairying.Governor presented gifts to the youth and wished them a bright future.
