The State Government has established a Single Window System in the Geological Wing of the State Industries Department which would ensure that all the services regarding mining concessions are provided to people in a transparent and effective manner. This was stated by Industries Minister Bikram Singh Thakur here today.Shri Bikram Singh said that under this system the applicants can apply for lease of mines and stone crushers from their home by registering themselves on website www.emerginghimachal.hp.in. He said that applicant could make payment of the fee on line. He said that to begin with this system would be on trial basis for 15 days and thereafter it would be mandatory for the applicant to apply online. He said that after the registration of the applicant the whole process at the official level would be online and the applicant can get the feedback on his application over phone or through e-mail.The Minister said that the mining lease owner can apply for the transit pass online and the same would be dealt in a transparent manner. He said that the Department would issue online Transit Pass and the applicant would have to deposit royalty online.Shri Bikram Singh Thakur said that the decision would not only save the people interesting in owning stone crushers or mines from cumbersome procedure, but make the whole process effective and transparent.
