A meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara Khalid Jahangir to review the status of ongoing developmental works executed in pursuance of directions passed by the Chief Minister during her public grievance camp held last year in the district.SE PDD, Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Chief Medical Officer, Kupwara, Chief Horticulture Officer, Kupwara, Chief Agriculture Officer, Kupwara, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE & PDD, Department, Executive Engineer Ground Water Div. Srinagar, Executive Engineer Mechanical Irrigation Baramulla, District Social Welfare Officer, and District Panchayat Officer were present at the meeting.The meeting was informed that 157 directions were passed by Chief Minister, which includes developmental works, preparation of DPR for various projects, Up-gradation of health and various educational institutions, administrative policy decisions.It was noted that 63 directions have been implemented so far, while 22 decisions have been partially implemented, adding all the directions would be taken to taken to their logical conclusion shortly. Further action has been initiated for implementation of 61 decisions by various departments of the State Government.It was informed that 76 development works have been taken up for execution, out of which 40 have been completed, 36 are at advanced stages and will be completed in due course of time. Similarly, DPRs in respect of 24 works have been forwarded to various departments for accord of approval and release of funds. In addition, a proposal for up-gradation of 20 Health and Educational institutions have also been forwarded to the respective departments in pursuance of directions of the Chief Minister.
