Aryans Business School (ABS), Rajpura, near Chandigarh organized a seminar on “Indian Financial System- Trends, Issues & Challenges” at its Campus. Dr. Dhiraj Sharma, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala was the keynote speaker on the occasion. Students and staff of MBA, BBA participated in the function.Dr. Dhiraj Sharma interacted with the students on Recent Reforms in Financial Sector, recent trends of financial markets including Regulators, The banking system, Non-banking finance companies, The capital market, Mutual funds, Overall approach to reforms, Deregulation of banking system, Capital market developments, Consolidation imperative etc.Dr. Dhiraj added that India recorded strong growth in recent years in both economic activity and financial assets. The financial sector is grappling with significant challenges and growth has recently slowed.
