An 11 member team of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM led by Ms. Khushboo Mattoo, Programming Head, J&K, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today and apprised him about the brand positioning and the programming content of the Radio Mirchi.Governor complimented the Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM team for successful completion of three years of operation in Jammu. He observed that the radio is a time tested medium for spreading awareness among people living in the towns as well as those in remote and difficult areas. He advised the Radio Mirchi team to make their listeners, most of whom are young, aware of all the flagship Central Government schemes and also sensitise the younger generation about the varied serious social problems facing the communities in J&K, particularly the fast spreading drug problem and its evil effects, need for keeping all public places neat and clean, adhering to traffic laws etc.
