The Punjab Government is fully committed to transform the educational sector in the state so as to ensure that every section of the society gets access to quality education and make a mark in his/her chosen field."This was disclosed here today at the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) auditorium by the Education Minister, Punjab, Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary on the occasion of distributing appointment letters to the 77 candidates, dependents of the deceased employees of the education department, on compassionate grounds. The minister further divulged that the pioneering efforts being made by the State Government to revolutionize educational sphere would make sure that even a student from economically poor section of the society can avail the educational facilities and lay claim to future greatness. The minister exhorted all the new appointees to discharge their duty with utmost dedication and professionalism.In his address on the occasion, the Secretary, School Education, Punjab Mr. Krishan Kumar also called upon all the newly appointed candidates to set a benchmark in the annals of the department by diligently performing their duty. On the occasion, 77 appointment letters were distributed which included 29 for the post of Clerks, 38 for Class-IV posts, 9 for Library Restorer and 1 for S.L.A. post. On the occasion, DPI (Secondary Education) Mr. Paramjit Singh, DPI (Elementary Education) Mr. Inderjit Singh, Secretary PSEB Hargunjit Kaur, Deputy Director Mr. Dharam Singh, Superintendent Mr. Prabhjit Singh and other departmental officials were also present.
