Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today stressed on strengthening of Higher Education structure in the state to lay a solid career foundation for the younger generation.Samoon was addressing a meeting of senior functionaries of Higher Education Department here today held to review functioning of the department.During the meeting, Samoon called for developing advanced teaching techniques to enable youth compete with modern developing market trends. He stressed on equal access to higher education for every student for his socio-economic development.Samoon asked the concerned officers to create awareness regarding various schemes launched by the government so that more students can reap the benefits out of them. He asked for promoting inter disciplinary talent, knowledge and character building among students to make J&K a hub of academic excellence by providing quality education.
