On first day of his visit of Kangra Sojourn, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while at Bir in district Kangra today, laid foundation stone of additional accommodation of Science block of Government Senior Secondary School, Bir which would cost Rs. 1.25 crore, he also laid foundation stone of expansion of Devi Bhawan complex and for beautification and construction of Mahakaal Temple ‘Ghat’ at Baijnath which would cost Rs. 52.29 lakh.Later he laid foundation stone of improvement of Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) for group of villages including Chakol, Behru and Rakkar Majherna in Baijnath which would cost Rs.1.37 crore, Besides, he also performed foundation stone laying ceremony of for improvement of Water Supply Scheme for Jhikli Beth and Kokiana in Baijnath Tehsil to cost Rs 90.02 lakh.
