Mrs Kiran Choudhry, leader of the Haryana Congress Legislature Party, has asked the Manohar Lal Khattar Government to better learn to speak in single voice, and, more importantly, be sure of what the Chief Minister or any other minister says, and stop misleading the people by issuing contradictory satements. Pointing out the obvious contradiction between what the Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu, said after the Cabinet meeting and the Chief Minister had stated on December 13, 2017 on the issue of implementation of the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act in the state, the former excise and taxation minister said both could not be correct.

Underscoring the contradiction caused by the lack of correct information, she quoted Capt Abhimanyu as saying, “The government today decided to promulgate an ordinance for adopting the Central Government’s Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act in the state as Haryana did not have a piece of legislation to regulate and register clinical establishments.” But the Chief Minister had told the media in Gurugram on December 13, 2017, “There are two Clinical Establishment Acts, one enacted by the Central Government and another enacted by the state government. A decision will be taken on which one should be implemented in the state. “Obviously both CM and FM cannot be correct. Either the state has such an Act, or it does not have one. The Chief Minister should make things clear to the people and stop misleading them through contradictory statements for want of correct information”, Mrs Choudhry demanded.
