A deputation of contractors working with various Departments today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and brought their issues into her notice.The deputation sought clearance of liabilities in their favour, easing out the tax return mechanism and reconciliation of works previously executed in Departments like PHE, R&B etc.The Chief Minister assured the deputation to look into their problem sympathetically. She directed the Chief Secretary to sort out the issue of clearance of liability and other issues raised by the deputation.Minister for Education, Syed Altaf Bukhari and Chief Secretary, B. B. Vyas were present on the occasion.
