Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital here to enquire about the condition of people injured in cross border firing.The Minister visited the hospital and interacted with the patients and their attendants and enquired about the treatment facilities being provided to them by the hospital. The Minister directed the GMC officials to provide free medical care to the injured persons.The Health Minister was apprised that adequate doctors and paramedic’s staff have been deputed and also necessary life saving drugs and equipment are kept available round the clock in the hospital.Minister informed that helplines have been set up for the assistance of people.
