Independent legislator Engineer Rashid Thursday said that there is no difference between Congress and BJP and both the parties are open enemies of Kashmiri people and the leaders of the both parties want to subjugate Kashmiri’s.Addressing party workers at Environmental Hall in North Kashmir’s Handwara town, Rashid said that Congress party squeezes the blood of Kashmir by pursuing a hidden agenda while BJP openly sucks blood and this party does it without any hesitation.“Both BJP and Congress have subjugated us and both the parties are open enemies of Kashmiri people as these parties are not sincere in getting the long pending Kashmir issue resolved,” he said.
Castigating both National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party for failing to put any pressure on New Delhi with respect to the resolution of Kashmir issue, Rashid that both these regional parties are power hungry which can go to any extent to grab the power.Awami Ithihaad Party president said that he will seek opinion of his supporters with regard to contesting Parliament elections. “We will decide whether we will support any party or contest Parliament elections on our own,” he said.
