With an objective of listening to the grievances and problems of the common masses, Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Caste Bushan Lal Dogra today convened a public grievances redress camps in Ranjan, Seri Pandita, Upper ChakBhalwal, Ghaink and Dhar Darocha in Bhalwal.The people hailing from various villages apprised the Vice Chairman about the problems being faced by them related to water supply, power supply, road connectivity, ration distribution, healthcare and sanitation.The Vice Chairman also reviewed the progress of various social welfare schemes being implemented by the government for welfare and development of Scheduled Castes Community.While addressing the gathering, the Vice Chairman directed the officers to resolve the issues and problems of the villages. He assured the villagers that their remaining issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for their early redressal.He appealed the people to take maximum benefit of these schemes as the government is putting in so many efforts to provide assistance to them at their doorsteps.   Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jammu North, Board Members, Sectoral Officers and Secretary of the Board were also present in the public meetings.
