Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parksh Ganga has said that coalition government is working under a well-knit strategy to ensure overall development of the state with emphasis on deprived and unattended areas.The Minister stated this while kick starting the double lane road to be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 14.27 crore from Raya Morh to Central University Jammu.“Along with the double lane road, centre government has also approved a flyover bridge over railway crossing at Raya to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 35 crore, in which centre and state government will contribute equal share,” the Minister added.Ganga further said that various new industries and mega projects, including AIIMS and International Airport, are coming up in the state which would directly benefit the state especially district Samba in terms of development and employment generation for the unemployed youth.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister asserted that the all genuine demands of the people pertaining to the development of the area would be redressed in phase manner and people would see the change on ground. Stressing on the need to create durable assets, Ganga directed the officers of the concerned departments to closely monitor the work on daily basis and to ensure that quality norms are strictly adhered to while executing the works.“Focused attention is being accorded to creation of long-lasting infrastructure in all essential sectors to enhance the usefulness of public utilities’’, the Minister said.
