BJP State Secretary & Minority Morcha National Executive Member Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, while addressing media persons at party headquarters today, accused the so-called secular political parties which have governed the country for maximum period after independence of using Muslims for mere vote bank. These parties are responsible for alienation of Muslims from the mainstream and had ignored them from the resources of the country adding that these parties raises false slogan of reservations, some time pides them with majority- minority slogans, sometimes pide them within the sects. Now when the elections are just few weeks away, the same political parties have started shedding crocodile tears with Congress in particular of making attempts in projecting itself as the sole well-wisher of Muslims but we cannot be fooled anymore as the Congress ruled continuously for decades after independents but did nothing in practical welfare and upliftment Muslims.
Khatana reminded the people of Jammu &Kashmir that former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee had said that India and Pakistan must live peacefully so that our people can come out of poverty, unemployment and live as good neighbours. Vajpayee opened the trade routes across the LoC, initiated the process of bringing pided families together, started direct Haj flights from main cities of the country. It was Atal who ordered ceasefire in the holy month of Ramzan which still continue. Hence, it is only BJP which deserve the votes of Muslims.Er. Khatana said that minorities in the country have shown the faith in BJP while overwhelmingly voting and supporting it in recently held assembly elections in MP, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Dehli. Minority MLAs on BJP mandate won elections in Rajasthan where Congress even failed to open its account.
He appealed the people of Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of caste, creed and religion, to strengthen the hands of Narendre Bhai Modi, who has the commitment to take forward the legacy of his Guide Atal Behari Vajpayee, the only declared Prime Minister candidate, because he is talking for prosperous and peaceful India, and development of all the 1.20 crore Indians and on the other side the Congress and other parties are busy in fixing and piding voters for getting their votes.BJP State Spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Muslim Morcha General Secretary Sadiq Khan, Morcha State Secretary Ali Mohd Malik and Morcha Distt.
