Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga said that coalition government is working under a well-knit strategy to ensure overall development of the State with emphasis on unattended areas.The Minister was addressing at a large public gathering after kick starting and inaugurating various developments works worth Rs 71 lakhs in Smailpur village.He also took on the spot assessment of the demands of the people during his tour of the area.Ganga inaugurated the upgraded lane and drains constructed at an estimated cost of 50 lakhs by Rural Development Department. The Minister also took review of the work of Community Facility Centre to be built up at the cost of 21 lakhs and asked the officers to expedite the work to complete it on stipulated time.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that all genuine demands of the people pertaining to the development of the area would be redressed in a phased manner and people would see the change on ground soon. Stressing on the need to create durable assets, Ganga directed the officers of the concerned departments to closely monitor the quality of work and ensure timely completion of the works.The Minister said that various new industries are coming up in the State which would directly benefit the state in terms of generating employment for the unemployed youth.Senior Officers from the concerned departments were accompanied the Minister during his tour.
