Punjab Players Continue To Shine In National School Games

The players from Punjab continue to shine at the 63rd National School Games events being held in different parts of the country. In the boxing events at Dehradun in U-17 category boys and girls from Punjab have won 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze.The Education Minister, Punjab, Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary has congratulated the players as well as the sports wing and said that the Punjab Government feels proud of its players. The minister hoped that the players would excel at the international level too. The State Organiser of the sports wing of the Education Department Mr. Rupinder Ravi divulged that in the girls events Tanishbir Kaur won Gold, Sandeep Kaur, Chandni Mehra and Komalpreet Kaur Silver and Diksha Rajput won Bronze. In the boys category, Kuldeep Singh won Gold while Akashdeep Singh won Silver and Prateem won Bronze.
