Continuing its decade old tradition, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today organized a special function with the special children at the "Institute for the Blind", Sector–26, Chandigarh to celebrate the 69th birthday of Aryans Group’s Founder, Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria (D.C). To inculcate zeal & help these students with mindfulness programs, Aryans also distributed yoga mats, sitting mats, sweets etc to the students. On this occasion, the students also sang religious songs. The function was attended by Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria himself; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer, Aryans Group; Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group etc. Management of Institute for Blind including Principal, Mr. J.S. Jayara; Secretary, Mr. B.D Sharma; Vice Principal, Mrs Urmil Sharma; English Teacher, Mrs Anu Tandon etc were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking said that equal opportunities to these special children should be given for their self reliance to ensure full participation in the society.Mr. J.S Jayara while thanking said that these special students needs inclusion not exclusion, integration not disintegration, opportunity not charity to integrate them into the mainstream of social life.Kataria further added that Aryans Group was started with one B School. But in a short span of 11 years, with the guidance & support of Prof. Kataria, the group has established its Engineering College, Law College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Nursing College, Degree College, Polytechnic College and Primary School.Born and brought up of Muktsar, Prof Roshan Lal Kataria is founder of Aryans Group of Colleges. Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria did his MA (Economics) from Dehradun. He started his career in Economics lecturer from Government College, Muktsar and later on worked in Zira, DAV Institutions. He also worked in Chandigarh for more than 10 years for spreading awareness regarding UGC/NET examination.
