The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara Khalid Jahangir today convened a joint meeting of officers of district administration to review the progress in implementation of directions passed by the State Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.The District Development Commissioner passed instructions to the implementing and executing agencies for timely completion of on-going developmental activities, besides for ensuring the implementations of all the directions issued by the CM during an Awami Darbar.The DDC directed the revenue authorities to resolve the land issues for resuming the execution works on different developmental activities in the district, while the CMO was asked to make available all basic facilities in the health institutions (SDH Langate) and implement all direction given by the visiting CM. The irrigation, Flood control, PHE, (Mechanical and civil) and rural development agencies were directed to complete all the works at ongoing developmental activities at an earliest, besides submission of DPRs, estimates and financial requirements be insured within next three days. The deputy director sports have been asked to start the execution of under construction sports fields, stadiums under his jurisdiction be completed within stipulated time frame decided during the meeting.The DDC also reviewed status of DPRs estimates, financial status of upgradation, repairs, renovation, fencing works around famous shrines, accommodation for PHE night chowkidars, protection bunds to different government assets, repairs and renovation of different link roads, completion of DPRs under cluster model villages approved by GOI under BADP DPR 2017-18 were also discussed thread barely during the proceedings of the meeting.The Chief Planning Officer and other officials of planning section were also present in the meeting with relevant records obtained from executing agencies for discussion during the meeting.
