Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari, today reviewed the progress made in the implementation of Chief Minister's directions given during her   public outreach programme held at Ramban.He also reviewed the physical and financial progress of various ongoing development projects in the district.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Ramban Tariq Hussain Ganai, Chief Engineer PHE, SSP Ramban Mohan Lal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban Gurvinder Jit Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Vivek Puri, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, Deputy Director FCS&CA, CMO, XENs  of PHE, PDD, R&B, PMGSY, CHO besides various district and sectoral officers.While reviewing the pace of progress on major projects including reconstruction of Tourist Bungalow Ramban, construction of bus stand at Ukhral, completion of water supply schemes at Ashar, Rajgarh, Pogal and Randgali Dhandrath, construction of Tourist Bungalow at Mahu, establishment of transformer bank in districti construction of Degree College at Banihal and various other schemes, he emphasized upon the officers to work diligently for the early completion of all components of the projects for which the funds have been released by the Planning, Monitoring and Development Department.

He also sought a detailed "issue-wise latest action taken report" on various decisions taken during the recently held District Development Board review meeting and implementation of flagship programmes. He stressed on proper monitoring of the projects to ensure quality works and strict adherence to the timelines.Later, the Divisional Commissioner held a meeting with officers, representatives of various political parties and people of the district.He also reviewed various works/projects of public departments and enjoined upon the concerned officers for timely completion of the works.District Development Commissioner, Doda, Bhawani Rakwal   apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the developmental scenario in the district.Divisional Commissioner directed the officers dealing with the essential services to ensure availability of essential commodities to the public especially in view of ensuing winter season.He also issued directions to all the District/Sectoral Officers to ensure attendance through Bio-Metric Machines by 31 st December, 2017 and to maintain strict punctuality in offices apart from conducting regular touring to far-flung places.
